![]() ![]() We let the hotel know and requested a partial refund, as this is not what we would expect from a room that cost nearly $400. I assume it was rain or condensation from the balcony, which means it probably had algae and dead bird juice in it too. Late that night, my wife stepped in a square shaped wet spot in the carpet between the desk and the balcony door. I took pictures of all of it to make sure we weren't charged for it. It appears that some repair attempts had been attempted with putty and paint, but they did not do a good job. ![]() We also noticed several items in the room were damaged, including scratches, cracks, scuffs and broken parts on the desk, bureaus and closet woodwork. However, it was clear that the staff hadn't done serviced it in weeks as it was covered in algae and had 2 dead birds that had clearly been there for a while. When we walked in, we were surprised to see the room had a door to a small balcony outside (we were on the 19th floor). We checked into this room for a comedy show in late October. ![]()
